lighthouse Flügge on Fehmarn island

Lighthouse Flügge on the island of Fehmarn in February 2001. One of the lighthouses, which are also in operation during the day. The round yellow brick tower has a wainscoting of red and white plastic plates. From 1977 the lighthouse works as rear range with the lighthouse Strukkamphuk as front range. These both lights mark together the narrow entry in the Fehmarnsund.

At the pictures below the lighthouse Flügge is visible in December 2009. It is under restoration and there is the unique chance to see it "naked". The plastic plates were turned off.
