Lighthouse Kambanes (Kambanesviti) in June 2008. The lighthouse stands near the street 96,
between Stöðvarfjörður and Breiðdalsvik, at the tip of a spit of land. A cul-de-sac,
still practicably with normal passenger car, turns from the main street into direction Kambanes and goes in a semicircle
around a hill. The lighthouse is not to be seen from the street, if one arrives at the farm one is over.
Therefore: pay attention to the power supply line! Where this turns into direction of the sea we went across country
to the margin of the cliff. If one has more time there is still to find a way down to the lighthouse.
