Lighthouse Skongenes in the northeast Vågsøy island in June 2005, photographed from the
approach road to Kråkenes Fyr in the northwest of the island. Skongenes
Fyr can landsides only be reached by feet with a several-hours walk from Halsør.
The lighthouse and the buildings are managed by the Norwegian Hiking Club Ytre Nordfjord. For overnight stays and visitings inquiries are necessary.
Minimal equipment for the hiking tour should be waterproofed shoes and a good condition. The hiking tour goes uphill and downhill, but
isn't so heavy. In autumn you can find some fine mushrooms. From the tops you have a beautiful view over the surrounding.
