lighthouse Texel

Lighthouse Texel ("Eierland") in April 2005. It stands in the North of the island of Texel near the village De Cocksdorp. During World War II the Germans put out the light and the lighthouse was damaged by battles. A new light was lit in 1950. In 1996 the lighthouse was restored at the last time, cracks in the wall were repaired and the tower was painted red.
